James Bejjani is an associate attorney at the Zaller Law Group. James focuses his practice on defending employers in single plaintiff and class action litigation, providing advice and counseling on employment policies and best practices, and representing employers before administrative agencies. He regularly handles cases in federal as well as state court.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked in a national law firm’s civil litigation department representing clients in various industries, from start-ups, established businesses, and individuals. His practice focused on defending claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, personal injury, and business and real estate litigation.
While in law school, James clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge, the Honorable Tonianne J. Bongiovanni for the U.S.D.C for New Jersey. He also volunteered for the New York City Bar Estate Planning Project (PELP) where he offered pro bono estate planning services to indigent and low income New Yorkers.
James was member of Fordham Law’s Environmental Law Review, where he served as a staff member and a Notes & Articles Editor. He graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science (emphasis on International Relations) and a B.A. in Economics.
